The images shown here (AP view and Lateral view) were taken with Orthomark spherical marker, which is placed at bone level when x-ray is taken.

The marker appears on the image as a circle that is automatically detected by TraumaCad software for scale calibration.

The templates used here are placed in the same way as with analog film and acetate template, which makes it highly intuitive to use.
